Experimental Film Essay

This is a midterm paper from my experimental film class. I wrote a formal analysis about one of the films that we viewed in class and cited relevant passages from the readings. I chose to discuss Meshes of the Afternoon, a short film by the experimental filmmaker, Maya Deren. In this essay, I provided my own interpretation of the piece and explained how the formal elements of film helped contribute to my ideas.
